The Title VI ALA Native American Education Committee works to strengthen parent and family involvement at the Accelerated Learning Academy. Our purpose is to ensure O’odham and Piipaash cultural opportunities are meaningfully implemented across campus and beyond. We will create a supportive environment where culture, tradition, and education come together to guide our students toward success.
This committee was established to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the operational and supplemental programs for the ALA’s Native American students and that those programs occur in a consistent and sustained manner. The establishment and the work of this committee are to comply with the rules and regulations governing Title VI, 20 USC 7401 et seq.
