This week, the Accelerated Learning Academy was gifted a new van to transport students to various opportunities across the Valley.
The van was generously donated by the SRPMIC Department of Transportation under the leadership of Sal LaPuma III.
ALA Principal Barb Wilkinson said of the van, "[On Thursday], we used it to transport several students to tour the East Valley Institute of Technology. I thought you might like to see a picture of them, as a result of your help and support. We are SO HAPPY for the new wheels!!! Side note: Next quarter we plan to start a shuttle service for our students with transport issues. This is being made possible because of [Sal and his team at the DOT]."
